Safety First, Convenience Second!  ThinkActBe.jpg

Procedures for drop off and dismissal:

  • As always, please allow common courtesy and the importance of safety for all children to be our guide.

  • If you wish to walk your child to classrooms, please park off campus either in the Martin Luther King, Jr. park parking lot or on the streets near school.  There are very few visitor parking spaces in the front staff parking lot.
  • Morning drop off by carline at the white curb in front of the school is available everyday for all students.  Please pull forward to allow as many cars as possible to unload students efficiently at the white curb.  Be prepared for drop off only once you reach the drop off portion of the carline.
  • Please Do Not Stop, Wait, or Park in the bike lane on Mesa Drive.
  • Dismissal at 2:55 for grades 1 through 5 is held at the back gate of the school.   Dismissal for kindergarten only (and siblings) is at the front of the school.  Children are released to parents after contact is made.
  • Remember dismissal for grades 1-5 is the back gate, kindergarten (and siblings) only in front.
